Friends of the LWML Become a Friends Member...The Friends of the Lois Wagner Memorial Library was established in the mid-1990's by a small group of dedicated volunteers, the group now has 11 "Friends" members. The Friend's mission is to help enrich the community by connecting people to the world of information and imagination. The goal of the organization is to raise money for the benefit of all Lois Wagner Memorial Library patrons. The Friends have various fundraiser's and the annual "Cookie Sale" is one of their most successful. Some of the Friends past contributions to the library have included:
If you are interested in joining the Friends organization the 2010 meeting dates are: January 20, March 17, May 19, July 21, September 15, and November 17. The meetings begin at 7:00 pm and are held in the meeting room at the library, everyone is invited to attend. The Friends always welcome new members. Membership Dues are for one year, July through June and are as follows:

Library Book Bags...The “Library Book Bag” is 18” wide by 12” inches high with a 1” bottom gusset. This bag comes with longer handles for carrying over the shoulder and is made of 100% cotton duck with a Velcro-attached pocket. It is in navy blue with a picture of the library and our beloved ‘Town Clock’ pictured on the front. The bag is “Made in the USA”. Cost of the bag is $10. Also, new this year is a children’s book bag, the “Tom Thumb Tote”. This is a junior version of the best-selling adult tote bag that comes with webbed handles that resist soiling. It is also “Made in the USA” from sturdy 7-ounce poly-cotton in red with yellow print picturing a bookworm. Price of the “Tom Thumb Tote” is $5. Proceeds benefit the Lois Wagner Memorial Library. We still have a few of the older burgundy book bag now selling at a reduced price of $8.
