Miller Library Scrapbooking Club for Adults
     Mondays, Feb. 22, and March 22
  6:30-8:30 p.m
    inside the Warren Arthur Miller Library 

Please bring pictures and any supplies you'd like.  This library will provide scissors, trimmers, paper, stickers, adhesives, stamps and inks, embossing powder, stickers, and die-cut embellishments.  Learn how to use the electronic Cricut die cut machine and
other scrapbooking tools and techniques

Job Searching 101

The Warren Public Library is hosting demonstrations on how to use Microsoft Word and Internet Explorer to help with job searching.

The public will have a choice of four different dates:

Friday, March 19, 10 a.m.
Friday, March 26, 10 a.m.
Friday, April 23, 10 a.m.
Friday, April 30, 10 a.m.

These demonstrations will be held in the Conference Room next to the Warren Civic Center Library in the Warren City Hall.  The funds for the programs were provided by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

Warren Library Presents
"Canoeing and Kayaking Through Michigan"
 

On Wednesday, April 21, 2010, the Friends of the Warren Library will sponsor a free slide show by Michigan author, Doc Fletcher.  Fletcher is a renowned canoeist who has had extensive experience on Michigan's rivers.  Come and get first hand information about canoeing trips, river difficulty, and facilities in nearby towns.  There will also be a drawing for a free canoe rental on one of three Michigan rivers.  This promises to be a fun and informative evening.

The program will begin at 7 p.m. in the Warren Conference Room, next to the Civic Center Library in the Warren City Hall.
